Asociación de Productores Valles de Cajamarca is a producer group founded in 2019 around the San Ignacio region of Cajamarca. About 45 farms contribute to the association, typically growing Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai, and Catimor varieties alongside plantains, yuca, and other staple crops. They are working to grow more resilient and high-quality varieties across their farms and exploring planting other varieties such as Gesha and Arara.

As a group, Valles de Cajamarca is committed to social and environmental responsibility. They prioritize sustainability and environmental stewardship while also restoring agricultural lands damaged by excessive chemical use. They work to sell their coffee in competitive markets, benefiting both their members and their buyers. They strive to be recognized for quality and for sustainable practices—the fruit of the hard work of its members and their families.

Within a few years, Asociación de Productores Valles de Cajamarca will be self-sustaining, operating within a competitive market and providing efficient services that improve the living conditions of its members. They will be leaders in the sale of certified specialty coffees, working toward social, environmental, and business sustainability, and fostering more prosperous families who are deeply committed to the organization.
